The 2019 AZWG Cadet Competition will be held at the Phoenix Police Academy on Jan. 26, 2019. Registration/sign-in is tentatively scheduled to begin at 0700 with the competition starting promptly at 0800. Further information on start times as well as location directions will follow as the date gets closer.
The competition events will come directly from CAPP 52-4 and will focus on the CORE events to include the following:
- Physical challenge
- Written test
- Drill/Color Guard
- Uniform inspection
- Uniform preparation
Following the completion of the event, awards will be given and the top two teams will advance to the regional competition. Cadets will be required to show up in their PT uniforms for the early morning events. Time will be given for cadets to change uniforms during the mid-day break.
The deadline to register is Saturday December 15, 2018. Any entry past 0001 hrs on Sunday the 16th will not be considered for competition.
Teams will be required to have a minimum of six cadet participants and two senior members for supervision. Two squadrons may combine if needed to complete a team. Squadrons also may have more than one team, however they will be required to have two senior members per team.

An email back to Capt. Jim Seeds with a list of all cadet entrants and senior members per team. (Seniors will be required to be current with CPPT.) Include the membership number of all participants, both senior and cadets. You may also email Captain Seeds with any questions you have about the competition.
